What is a Composite Photovoltaic Frame?

Composite PV frames are mainly made of glass fiber reinforced resin matrix composites (GFRP) or polyurethane composites, through advanced pultrusion process molding. More importantly, its thermal expansion coefficient is close to that of PV glass, which avoids problems such as sealant damage and glass cracking caused by thermal expansion and contraction under large temperature differences, and greatly reduces the risk of module damage. Its thermal deformation temperature exceeds 230℃, and it can withstand extreme temperature differences from -40℃ to 85℃, which is suitable for high and cold areas such as Mohe, Heilongjiang and hot and dry areas such as Turpan, Xinjiang.

Against the background of global carbon neutrality, the low-carbon advantage of composite PV frames has become a core competitiveness. The carbon emission during production is only about 1/10 of that of aluminum alloy, and the production energy consumption is 1/5 of that of aluminum alloy frames, which fully meets the low-carbon environmental protection requirements of Europe, America and other regions. It is a key project of the "desert, gobi and desert" wind-solar base.
