The energy was electric, the conversations insightful, and the opportunities abundant. We are proud to share the highlights of our journey to Turkey for SolarEX Istanbul 2026 – from an engaging exhibition floor to meaningful post-show collaborations.

Together with our parent company, Zhejiang Hongsheng Group, we have returned with fresh perspectives, strengthened relationships, and a clear roadmap for expanding our polyurethane composite frame business across Europe, the Middle East, and the CIS regions.
Part 1: A Dynamic Presence at SolarEX Istanbul 2026
Date: April 8–10, 2026
Venue: Istanbul Expo Center, Turkey
Our Booth: Hall 5, Booth 5A11
Over three days, our booth welcomed a steady stream of photovoltaic module manufacturers, distributors, EPC contractors, and industry experts. The main attraction? Our polyurethane composite frame samples – a lightweight, corrosion-proof, and electrically insulating alternative to traditional aluminum frames.
Key Takeaways from the Show:
• Strong interest in PID-free solutions: Many visitors highlighted the growing challenge of Potential Induced Degradation (PID) in large-scale plants. Our frame’s inherent non-conductivity resonated strongly.
• Corrosion resistance wins in coastal projects: With increasing floating PV and seaside installations, engineers appreciated that our PU composite frames never suffer from galvanic corrosion.
• Cost-performance balance: Several module makers told us they are actively seeking to reduce aluminum dependency due to price volatility. Our solution offers stable pricing and consistent mechanical strength.
We also had the pleasure of meeting several long-term online contacts face-to-face and establishing initial discussions with more than 15 potential partners from Turkey, Germany, Italy, and the UAE.

Part 2: Beyond the Exhibition – Factory Visits & Technical Exchange Meetings
The true highlight of our trip came after the exhibition closed. At the invitation of several serious prospects, our technical and sales team traveled to visit their manufacturing facilities across Turkey.
What We Accomplished:
1. On-site technical assessments
We examined our customers’ existing frame assembly lines and discussed how polyurethane composite frames could be seamlessly integrated into their current production processes.
2. In-depth technical exchange meetings
Our engineering team presented detailed data on thermal expansion, mechanical load performance, and long-term weathering behavior of our PU composite profiles. We also addressed specific technical requirements, such as customized hole patterns, surface finishes, and dimensional tolerances.
3. Joint problem-solving sessions
Customers shared real-world challenges they face with aluminum frames – from corrosion in greenhouse environments to insulation failures. Together, we co-designed potential upgrades using our composite material.
4. Signed memorandums of understanding (MOUs)
We are delighted to announce that following these factory visits, two customers have already moved to the sample-testing phase, and three more have requested full technical packages for internal evaluation.
These post-show engagements proved that face-to-face collaboration remains irreplaceable. By stepping inside our customers’ factories, we gained a deeper understanding of their quality control standards, production rhythm, and future project pipelines.

Part 3: What Our Customers Are Saying
“We have been looking for an alternative to aluminum that can lower our logistics weight and eliminate corrosion risk. Techrise’s polyurethane frame is exactly what we needed. The technical exchange in our factory was very productive.”
— Production Manager, a Turkish solar module assembler
“The post-show visit made all the difference. We could test the profile’s insertion force and compare it with our existing aluminum jig. The team from Shanghai Techrise was well-prepared and collaborative.”
— R&D Director, an Turkish PV manufacturer
Part 4: Our Commitment Going Forward
The success of this exhibition and the subsequent factory visits would not have been possible without the strong backing of Zhejiang Hongsheng Group, whose decades of composite material expertise ensure our quality, supply stability, and continuous innovation.
As we return to our headquarters in Shanghai, we are:
• Preparing sample shipments for all qualified partners who requested them during the post-show meetings.
• Finalizing customized technical datasheets and assembly guidelines based on feedback from factory visits.
• Opening doors for exclusive distribution and agency agreements in key territories still available.
